Our Process

The application of a adaptable development methodology, based in standards and clear goals, helps us in providing effective solutions as planned. The following schema illustrates the more common aspects of our methodology, which can change according to each project's spread.

  • Requirements definition: Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
  • Architecture definition
  • Project plan
  • Development and Alpha release
  • Test and Beta release
  • Final release and deployment

Typical flow of events (or what to expect from us)

Quote production process

  1. The Client and the Negotiator meet in order to establish the basic needs for the project at hand. The Negotiator states these needs in a document called Vision Document. Other documents may also be created in these meetings (e.g. Confidentiality Agreement).
  2. The Negotiator requests a more formal analysis to the analyst by submitting the Vision Document to him.
  3. The Vision Document enables the Analyst to understand enough of the project to produce a quote. If the Vision Document is incomplete or more details are needed, the Analyst will:
    1. First: contact the Negotiator to inform him about the issues, problems or questions.
    2. Second: contact the Client directly with the issues, problems or questions.
  4. If a quote can be produced, the Analyst will do so by meeting with the Project Manager. A second round of issues/problems/questions may raise form this meeting. In any case if a Quote is produced, the Analyst will:
    1. First: send the Quote to the Negotiator.
    2. Second: send the Quote directly to the Client, if previously arranged so.

Software production process

  1. Once a Client agrees to the terms of a Quote (by signing a Work Order and paying part of the project fees). The Analyst is informed of the new project by the Negotiator. The Analyst then meets with the Project Manager in order to configure the time frame and resource allocation.
  2. The Project Manager takes charge of the project and will continue communicating with the Client and the Negotiator weekly informing on project progress.
  3. Upon project completion, the Project Manager informs the Negotiator which in turn collects the due payment.
